It’s NaNoWriMo Time!

It’s been a while since I’ve posted an update about what’s going on in Tamara Tamara Lucy land - mostly because, well, there’s not too much going on. I spent most of the summer and early fall consumed with selling our home of 18 years and moving into a new one (a fixer-upper), which ended up being a much bigger task than I was anticipating. It’s been enjoyable, and we’re excited to be in new surroundings, but I miss my writing schedule!

To jumpstart myself back into Author Mode, I’ve pledged to undertake NaNo with my 15 year old (who kicked my butt last year by writing a whole 60k novel while I petered out around 25k words). It’s going to be a new and different genre for me (thriller, baby!), mostly as a way to have fun and get back in the groove of things.

As for other author-y things, my next book release will be RUFF AND TUMBLE, my puppy football romance, in June, followed by HYPNOSIS IS FOR HACKS, the fourth Eleanor Wilde mystery, in November. I have another puppy-themed romance heading your way next year, but I don’t have a release date or a title for that one yet, so you’ll just have to wait and see!

I’m also working on an exciting new (kind of) secret project that’s not book-related, but is writing- and romance-related. I’ll be able to share more about that as it progresses, and I think you’ll be as excited as I am.
